The bane of every detailer’s existence – soft, sticky paint. Impossible to finish down. Impossible to ceramic coat. Impossible to even look at out of the corner of your eye without marring the surface and ruining your entire day’s work.
FEYNLAB has felt your pain. We have heard your cries. And now, we have the solution for you! Introducing FEYNLAB CERAMIC PRIMER!
Quickly becoming the favorite tool in our detailing arsenal, FEYNLAB CERAMIC PRIMER provides a solid foundation over soft and difficult paint systems prior to the application of any FEYNLAB coating.
Applied with a microfiber finishing pad on a DA polisher, CERAMIC PRIMER forms a ready-to-be-coated base layer, creating an overall thicker film build on the paint, and more importantly, allowing you to polish to perfection and not risk marring the paint upon removal. This can be used as needed in replacement of FEYNLAB A1000 FINAL FINISH as your final polishing step, leaving behind a glossy, ready-to-coat surface.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ceramic primer is a preparatory coating that creates a stable foundation between the paint surface and the final ceramic coating. This primer builds a firmer base on soft or difficult paint systems, making the coating application process safer and more predictable. It works by creating uniform surface conditions that allow for consistent coating bonding and easier removal if needed.
Car primer for ceramic applications creates a specialized foundation specifically designed for coating systems. Unlike traditional automotive primers used for paint preparation, ceramic primer focuses on creating optimal bonding conditions between existing paint and protective coatings. It provides enhanced gloss and works across all paint colors without varying results.
Primer automotive formulations like Feynlab Ceramic Primer specifically address soft paint challenges by building a firmer foundation. Soft paints can make coating application and removal difficult, but this primer creates the necessary stability. It allows for safe coating work on vehicles with challenging paint systems that might otherwise require extensive preparation.
Coating primer serves as an intermediate layer that remains effective as long as the ceramic coating system stays intact. The primer creates a stable foundation that supports the main coating throughout its service life. When properly applied, the primer maintains its bonding properties and gloss enhancement characteristics for the duration of the coating system.
Primer coating formulations are designed to be safe across different paint types and colors. Feynlab Ceramic Primer works without causing damage to existing paint systems and actually makes subsequent coating removal safer. The primer creates consistent results regardless of paint darkness or color, reducing the risk of uneven application or removal issues.
The best primer for automotive applications delivers extraordinary gloss while creating optimal coating conditions. Feynlab Ceramic Primer enhances paint appearance immediately while preparing the surface for coating application. The primer provides consistent gloss results across different paint colors and maintains its enhancement properties throughout the coating system's life.
Polish ceramic coating primer applies to all exterior painted surfaces that will receive ceramic coating treatment. This includes body panels, bumpers, trim pieces, and other painted components. The primer works on horizontal and vertical surfaces, creating uniform conditions for coating application across the entire vehicle exterior.
Primer polish creates a stable foundation that typically doesn't require separate maintenance once the ceramic coating system is applied. The primer maintains its properties as part of the complete coating system. Any maintenance needs would generally involve the entire coating system rather than just the primer layer underneath.
