FEYNLAB® WINDOW COATING is an ultra-durable, extraordinarily slick, and super hydrophobic window treatment that covalently bonds to glass. Rather than a hydrogen bond or weaker van der Waals forces of attraction over the glass, which wears off quickly, FEYNLAB® WINDOW COATING reacts with the glass, forming a physical bond. Step 1 is a cleaner/polish which removes surface grime, contamination, and water spots. Step 2 is a glass coating with deep anchoring film formation technology.
The cleaner/polish step removes all contaminants on the glass, revealing “hydroxyls” which are the reactive sites within the glass that the coating anchors to when it condenses on the surface. Several minutes after installation, a ceramic-like membrane is formed that fills in micro voids of the glass and covers the peaks with protection. DURABILITY & SPECS
Expected durability includes many variables such as wiper abrasion to the surface and chemical exposure. However, expect six (6) months to a year on the windscreen and two (2) or more years on the side glass and rear window. Application process includes glass polishing and at least one layer of Feynlab® Window Coating.

PREPPING THE GLASS
Glass Polishing
First, thoroughly clean the vehicle glass with FEYNLAB® PURE WASH or FEYNLAB® PURE
Next, use Feynlab Window Cleaner Polish to remove all grime and film formation on glass
For optimal glass polishing, apply the window cleaner polish to a microfiber disc using a dual action polisher. Evenly polish the glass, passing over the surface 2-3 Afterward, wipe-off all polish residue from the glass.
Test Glass Cleanliness Before Window Coating Application (VERY IMPORTANT FOR COATING TO BOND PROPERLY)
After polish removal, it’s critical to test glass readiness before FEYNLAB® WINDOW COATING application to ensure optimal bonding and durability.
To test, spray or wipe water over the If the glass was fully cleaned by the polish, the glass should be completely hydrophilic, meaning water does NOT bead on the surface.
If the surface beads water contamination or product is still present on the glass. To remove; complete another polishing When the water falls flat on the glass, the surface is ready for Window Coating application.
DIRECTIONS
Prior to application, place vehicle in well-lit area with temperature ranging from 50°F-85°F (10°C-30°C), and contaminant free. Make sure there are plenty of microfiber towels and either a suede microfiber or applicator sponge.
FEYNLAB® WINDOW COATING APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Apply enough FEYNLAB® WINDOW COATING on the applicator to fully cover one side window or 1/3 of the front
Make a “+” (plus) sign with product in the middle of the panel, then wipe around the boundaries of the section creating a frame.
Next, fill in the framed area with slightly overlapping horizontal (left to right) straight lines over the entire panel. After, switch to vertical overlapping lines. This cross-hatching pattern ensures even application.
After application, step back and look for any areas missed or those with excess If found, smooth out evenly with the applicator sponge. This will ensure even drying across the glass and minimize excess product usage.
COATING REMOVAL
After 35 minutes have passed, level the product with a clean microfiber towel. (If time allows, and you have the vehicle overnight, the coating can remain for up to 12 [twelve] hours before wiping.) Begin wiping in the same area of the glass where product was FIRST applied.
Removal Method:
Wipe off WINDOW COATING following same pattern of application, using two clean Microfiber.
Towel A (left hand) will remove (level) the majority of the coating.
Towel B (right hand) will remove any remaining residue, revealing a clear, glossy window the microfiber towel slides easily across.
INSPECT
Be sure to carefully inspect your finished glass for clarity and smudges. Check all of your edges, and other tight spaces for any remaining product. It is much easier to remove if you catch it within 20 - 30 minutes.
